This swimming pool is being built much in the same manner as the garage of the Condo building. After you dig the hole you rebar it, form it, pump it dry and then pour the concrete.

The pump in the pit of this pool has been running for the better part of three weeks trying to dry out the pit so they can shoot the gunite. Every time the get it near dry a storm comes along raises the water table fills the pit back in and they start pumping all over again.

I can’t think of the term right now but I believe it’s well point. This is essentially a system of perforated pipes drilled vertically in the ground around where you want to dig attached to a pump. It sucks all of the water out of the ground. Could be not use a similar system at the pool?
