About 40 years ago I decided that I wanted to try restocking a rifle. While I am fairly handy with tools, I had no idea what I was getting into! I decided to restock a Winchester Lo Wall single shot rifle, bought a rifle stock blank and read everything I could get my hands on about shaping and fitting wood to metal! So, about 6 months later, I had the finished product/project While it is not up to professional standards, I do think it turned out pretty decently! Some pictures:
I can close my eyes, shoulder the rifle and be looking straight thru the scope! Oh, yes, it is chambered for the 22 magnum cartridge and is quite accurate!
