No, cannot be related to the tip. The driver needs to rate the passenger immediately upon dropping them off, tips can come in hours or days later. They never come in before you have a chance to rate the passenger. A driver might give someone a 1-star just because they think you were a prick and don’t want to ever transport you again. A 1-star in either direction means that you will never be paired up again.
