And the flip side, I can give you a litany of driver sins....

Years ago, you could assume that the Uber driver would have a clean car, offer you water, all sorts of things. One night, we sat in a full blown all options S-class Mercedes. He drove Friday/Saturday, 8-10 hours a day, and the car was paid for. It was wonderful. The drivers were willing and able to hold long interesting conversations, and liked to talk about the pros and cons of Uber. We had 13 people get picked up at 9:30 at night, in the hippest part of town, on a Saturday, all within about 5 minutes.
Once, we were in the Dripping Springs area (an hour West of Austin, 4 hours from Houston). Very hip, very trendy. The driver was from Houston, he would hoof it over the 4 hours to that area and pay for a hotel every weekend, because the market was so good, it was worth it.

Now, the cars are falling apart, check engine light on, drivers who don't say a word to you the whole ride...I even had one who didn't speak English. Now, I don't really care, except that was the *one time* that I really needed to communicate with him that we were going off-route to pick someone up. Hell, that might have been one of my bad scores...
