My dad gave me a zenit/moonlight NV-100 night vision scope (Russian). Bought new in 1997 and never used. Tried in the basement today and it works pretty good. Receipt says it was $380 back then

Anyone have one of these? I took a quick look online and it seems like modern NV scopes are smaller, cheaper and work better but not really sure how they compare

I like the idea of having NV scope in my survival bag but not sure if I should take up real estate with this if ithe new tech is way better?
