Howard should be fired. If the other ******* put his hand on Howard, Howard should have kept right on walking. Then made a formal complaint, especially if he actually felt threatened as he alleged in the post-game news conference.
Howard actually fought his way into the scrum, out of control, undisciplined, angry and extremely unsportsmanlike. If that's what people want in a top tier collegiate head coach, fine. But then he whacked a guy right upside the head. This, to me, is unacceptable for a head coach. The basketball community needs role models, not impulsive, violent thugs.
