This morning when the DOW was down to about 32200, I jumped in and bought some "Value" stocks. Specifically, Johnson and Johnson, Hewlett Packard and Raytheon. Two of the 3 have dividend "ex" dates coming up soon with the other one being about 3 weeks away. I had been expecting the market to tank for quite a while and had been sitting on some cash just in case the opportunity came up! Several of the market analysts are currently pushing the value stocks. However, now I think I will go in search of a solid mutual fund next. Now comes the waiting!
