Ace in a Day, with Jets?
I am sceptical. Suspect this is folklore, urban legend. and at least some of those shoot downs were by SAM's.. Especially since some of them supposedly happened in overcast weather.
Like this one supposedly was the Ghost of Kyiv?
People on the ground just hear jet noise, they can't tell who's jet it is.
And then they se parts falling.. can't even tell who's jet it is either.
Unlikely is the word here.
