You may get a grin out of this. When I was in England's Brighton Beach for the very first time and my very thin jacket was no match for the weather I was offered a woolly jumper. Apparently the look of confusion on my face was enough to cause great laughter and a very kind lesson on the differences between the Queen's English and the gutter speak of Americans.
