Since man killed God, he has elevated Science and Tech to the status of a religion that can save us from our problems by being able to " figure it out." Since 2008 the policies of the US FED in particular has been to print money to facilitate the US governments borrow and spend policy to keep the Global economy afloat. The result is that the USD which is the Worlds Reserve Currency has become debased to the point where people have become afraid that it might collapse. To that end the god of Science and Tech has provided Bitcoin as the solution to where people can flee and find salvation.

The only problem with this is that it ignores the issue of trust. Bitcoin has only been around for a decade or so where as Gold and Silver has been recognized as bonafide money for more than 5000 years..When push comes to shove people will want it in their hand where they know that they have something of value and not some abstraction of value that they can not touch. Tried and true will prevail.

The trajectory and momentum of history indicates that Western Civilization is headed for an eclipse where it will collapse. All of the events in the world that we have seen since 2008 have been increasingly fragmented and chaotic. Where populations to maintain the now delusion of prosperity have become increasingly psychotic The end result will be that the Atlantis Paradigm will be in effect where knowledge will be lost and science and tech will regress. We are looking at a global collapse of economy and civilization where there will be a New Dark Ages of indeterminate length. Welcome to reality.
