Same here. We had a land line for years with OOMA. It was just $4.95 per month and it got to the point that 100% of the calls over a two month period were robocalls. We only kept the land line because my wife insisted. I was happy to see it go.
All that would have to happen to stop the robo calls is to mandate REAL caller ID. If the caller's ID and actual phone number does not match, the call does not go through. A few months ago I was calling myself. My caller ID showed up on my phone. I can't even call myself but they spoofed it. Spoofing needs to be stopped at the telephone company level.
