2012 Cooper S fast clutch wear

My 2012 Cooper S clutch wears too fast. Any info why & how to correct will be very much appreciated. I became the 2nd owner at 30,000 miles & had to replace the clutch within a year. Also replaced the stock dual-mass flywheel with a light weight then. As for my current driving: no track time or autocross, I just putt around town. I know how to drive a stick so am pretty sure Im not the cause of such a short clutch life. Recently at 63,000 miles its starting its slip routine again: accelerating in 3rd or 4th gear at city speeds. Another 30,000 mile clutch life can't be normal. Do other 12's have this problem? If so, how to fix if possible. I haven't looked in the Bently book yet but, is there a way to adjust the clutch engagement?
