It probably goes without saying but there are a couple of "signals" common to the replies scammers send to WTB
1. generic response - saying xyz has "the part" you are looking for, without specifying what "the part" is. Likewise, saying "I have bought 'parts' from him before" without saying what 'parts'
2. low post count, and if any posts, none in the technical forums
At least they have stopped adding the idiotic "you can thank me later" that past iterations of contained
