I think the consensus is, it will work but it may not work forever .. it becomes a reliability thing as the output stage of the CDI box sees either half or double the impedance, depending on whether the coils are in series or parallel. Both have drawbacks. Installing 2x programme-able boxes seems to be the best option for our 911’s …
