She didn't like the tile in the pool so contracted to have it replaced.

Tile crew shows up, does the job but finds they are short materials.

They call the GC and tell him he either screwed up his measurements or the supplier shorted them.

GC drives over, goes into friends yard to find no work done and his crew in the neighbors yard.

No one had been home at either house.
