I think Gene Haas is seeing the potential financial return from his team, and is willing to spend to realize it. Until this season or next, the money was poured down a rathole.
You have to wonder how or maybe IF on the other end of the grid will the spending cap tighten the field up, or will they use some inter company trickery to get around it? How does RBR get around the cap?
