Has anyone thinned or narrowed down the throttle shaft on their 40 triple Weber?
If so was anything gained? Was there a problem, such as a twisting shaft?
According to my calcs with 36mm vents there is a restriction at the throttle shaft. Maybe it doesn't matter, or is there something to be gained with a thinner shaft on a warmed up 3.0?
