thanks for your reply. Is it possible with the Microsquirt to delay the power to the ignition coil?
Next steps will be to measure with an Oscilloscope on the crank signal if there is any noise going on. If yes, this could be handled with a better shielding, or the available noise filter in Microsquirt.
