At least one reason to live in Hawaii:
Hawaii currently observes 7 time zones all year. DST is no longer in use. Clocks do not change in Hawaii. The previous DST change in Hawaii was on September 30, 1945.

When I lived on Oahu I had to conduct business in the DC area at least once a week. It had to be done first thing due to the 6 hour time difference. Made things a bit difficult when the folks in DC were in prepping to head out for the day and you are just getting started. On the bright side, they didn't bother us late in our day.
