Yay, awesome, wait, f me
Put in a pool.
Builder was awesome and really an old school craftsman.
I have no complaints with him, only praise.
The daily micro intrusions of the project have been wearing me down.
I don't handle unplanned interruptions well.
They screw with my flow, writers block if you will.
When I'm on a call with the executive team or trying to work through code issues I really don't care what ****ing shade of pebble tech we want cause honestly, they all look the same to me even when you point out that one is 3% greener and the other 2% bluer, IDGAF, pick one.
So today was plaster day which means you fill it with water right after and yay you are done.
Was awesome dropping the hoses in and starting the fill.
Jacuzzi got filled first then onto the rest of the pool.
An hour after jacuzzi was full we looked at it and went WTF? Why is there 2 inches less water in there now than there was an hour ago?
Fill it back up to where it should be and same thing, it's an inch every 30 minutes.
It's leaking.
Leak is definitely in the PVC, I have wet spots that run in line with the PVC path and jacuzzi is down 8 inches in the last 5 hours.
I don't blame the builder, he's a handshake guy and I have no doubt he will make it right but damnit, I wanted to be done with this ****.
I suspect it was the sprinkler dude who brought in a small back hoe and crushed the pvc. But he is the builders sub so while I wont bear the cost I really just needed to be done with this project.
And no, it's not that the valves are set wrong and the drain line is open, thats not a scenario with how this pool was built.
