Did our pool in 2010. Was late enough in the year that the cement form was shot but then we went the entire winter in bare concrete, and resumed the project in April.
Pool outfits are notoriously coming and going, very seasonal work in the NorthEast, subcontractors that bid the lowest etc. Mine came out fine after two major red flags I observed; you should have seen how pissed they were over my insistence that they reverse and complete the work according to the contract.
