That’s just political nonsense/manipulation of the gullible.
For the people who are evicted, the vast majority will be people who long deserved it.
IDK why, but politicians and other non landlords bizarrely believe that landlords are in the business of evicting decent tenants.
That’s not how the business works.
Quoting myself from June 2021.
Obviously, as I said then, there was no danger of a “tsunami of evictions.”
Of course, all along it was just blatant lies by a political party to trick gullible people and fraudulently advance their political agenda. It’s part of the philosophy of “never let a good crisis go to waste.” When that’s the tactic, you always have to have/invent a crisis. A never ending “state of emergency.”
Just like “2 weeks to flatten the curve,” mass lockdowns, fraudulent nonscientific fear campaigns etc.
That was obvious to anyone with any ability to observe, and apply common sense to such observations.
Anyone who claims to deny that is either lying or has a real problem observing objective reality.
