Yea, the 911 does not talk to computers. There is the one connector just under the throttle that is only used once at the factory to check the flywheel sensors position. It is 100% useless thereafter. I did upgrade the computer chip for the DME to the real power user version. It came with just a 4K chip, but I have the super powerful 8K chip! Mostly because no has made a 4K chip in years and 8K is the smallest anyone makes.
My El Camino has the predecessor to OBD connections, the ALDL connection. Just a reader, no two way communications possible.
