I know the last time I rented a car, they copied my Driver's license, and made a copy of my insurance proof, and they sure had my credit card number and there was no doubt they knew I was. I am sure he will claim the car was stolen and it was not him in the car. They will have the car's onboard video to go through as more evidence.

I can only assume that he paid for their insurance thinking "I can do whatever I want to the car, and it's not my problem."
People don't seem to understand that if they do stupid stuff on video that goes viral, it can have some ugly repercussions. Or maybe they don't care as long as it supports their 5 mins of fame and a bunch more hits on their social media.
