Rockwool doesn’t burn, insects and rodent don’t like it, doesn’t hold water, doesn’t itch, doesn’t need to be stapled, cuts super easy, doesn’t have much waste from custom cuts, semi air sealing, great for sound control and goes up 3X faster than fiberglass. I’ve done both. Easily worth the extra cost.
