I would think the majority of people are ignorant of how the 'system' works. It's not really something that is ever taught in school as far as I know.
I've probably learned more about how the system works by watching shows like Bull, SVU, Law and Order, oh and reading things here, and, how could I forget Judge Judy.
In the way distant past I used to like watching Perry Mason too.
