Ok, thought about the heat gun approach. Car gets really hot out in the sun already. Enough heat to melt the rubber flat seems likely to damage the rubber.
Has anyone actually tried heat gun? Or do you all just splash out on a new $400 smile rubber.
I think I'm just going to glue it. Barge cement is easy to remove if it doesn't hold.
