I never knew these existed but just watched an informative YT vid (see below) and holy cow how awesome....I'm all in!
Looks like just a seat that fits over your existing toilet. Doesn't sound like a big deal.
My former home had a bidet in the master bath but I never used it. Just turned it on once and then had a bunch of water to clean up.
