What exactly is new about this? Pretty sure this has been the law here for many years as I’ve received 2 tickets nearly 20 years ago regarding both my motorcycles for reasons exactly as stated in what you posted, unless this is a county specific law. I didn’t look deep enough into the reg to understand if that’s the case or not

As for how it effects businesses, as far as I can see, it doesn’t effect them any more than tinting laws effect tinting companies. Customers buy and take the risk just as I have…..although I had a local Harley dealer refuse to pass my inspection with aftermarket exhaust installed. I said what the hell are you talking about, you sold them to me and installed them you a holes
