I got this boat for my nephew for Christmas back in the mid 90s, can't remember what year. I remember when I bought it, I also bought the battery for it as well as the little 9v battery for the controller bit I didn't buy a charger as I figured my Sister and Brother-in-law could provide that. Well, they never did get a charger and the boat was played with only one time. I remember my Brother-in-law telling me that the battery had a little charge on it and they played with the boat once and then it was never played with again.
When my Brother-in-law passed away recently and my Nephew and I were going through things, we found the boat on a shelf in a closet. There, it was in it's box all these years!!! My Nephew said I could have it so now it has come full circle.
So, here is a vintage Radio Shack Stinger RC Boat, with Radio Shack battery pack and original Radio Shack 9v battery.
