I think I have learned something.
I presumed all thermopiles or generators are the same, like thermocouples.
Not so?
From what I can gather there are different ones for different applications as strange as that seems.
So I have ordered the correct part number for this unit. The one I bought the other day was just a generic off-the-shelf at the hardware store.
Hope this works new one works on arrival..
If not I will get a pressure gauge and see what it is at the stove.
