Devore Stove.
It is a thermopile next to the pilot and a thermocouple on other side of it .
The Tstat closes and the pile is supposed to generate enough electrical power to lift the valve for the propane to come in, and VILOA the burner fires off.
No the worst problem in the world, just aggravating.
