If you have a V.O.M, check to see how many millivolts the thermopile is producing. It looks like the thermopile should be producing a minimum of 300 millivolts from what I've found.
Also, have you tried putting a jumper in place to bypass the thermostat? And looking at the pilot flame, is there good coverage of the thermopile?
