If you're handy, don't rule out renting a mig welder and learning to do that yourself. There's a learning curve, but it's more straightforward than you might think. Lots of good YouTube videos out there. When I found some rot on the floor of the trunk in my Ferrari and was quoted 4-5K to have it repaired professionally, I learned how to use an angle grinder and mig weld and did the job myself. It was an empowering experience. Probably did the job better in the end. Also saved a ton of money.
