I briefly looked into that when I was selling my middie but didn't go as far as making real inquiries. Some Porsche dealers have a classics service department, they might be more conversant with the air cooled models.
Also how many DMs have you already got from sketchy characters saying "$35k cash. CASH. RIGHT NOW. I'LL COME TOMORROW. CASH".
