The first rule of menopause club is to never mention it.
I suggest fans and ice packs next to the bed and practice holding your breath.
Those chocolates are keeping ya alive for now.
My older ex went through five years of elevated and I know it was difficult for her. It was difficult for me. Night flashes in the middle of winter and she'd throw off the covers while soaking the bed at least several times a night. It was hell on her sleep schedule and we ended up using separate rooms. Even during the colder days we'd be talking and she would start to 'glisten' i.e sweat like just after running a sport event. She wasn't a makeup/clothing debutante but it was probably very difficult to remain professional looking throughout the day.
Imagine going about a daily routine but your own body wants to spontaneously combust at random times, and there is nothing you can do about it.
