I once shot 600 meters in a 100 meter semi open range , with a tracer out of my M1A
the office cabinet was dead. Luckily the office was empty at the time
I unwillingly delivered proof the range design was un-safe
I know a lot about tracers now.. and that they are more prone to ricochet
