The other day I noticed a small black spot on my windshield of the El Camino. I thought it was a bug, but from the outside I could see it was a rock chip. Frack!
So I went today to a pro to get it "repaired" and it looks a lot better. It is not a black glob now, it looks like a small speck of water and I have to look for it to see it. The shop I went to is close to the hazardous waste disposal site. So I planned ahead and brought 5 gallons of old oil, one can of brake fluid, and two of the CR123A lithium batteries for free disposal.
Getting there was easy, but the on-ramp for the interstate was closed for some road work. So I had to drive through a high traffic area to get on at a different place, and that had construction and narrowed lanes. I managed to get back home after going through several other construction areas. I guess construction season is back in full swing.
