Do you buy meat at Walmart?
When I’m at my in-laws I do. Their walmart is new and the only game in town with the exception of a very small acme store with poor quality, i go to Walmart for most everything. I bought grass fed rib eyes there once. Individually vacuum packed and they were good.
I think the trick is you need a significant volume of people that are buying those products.
With the above post of roast beef as an example, cold cuts that aren’t getting a big churn will not do well. While they might be safety ahead of any sell by date and safe to eat, doesn’t mean they’re any good.
