Maybe you can do something for a friend's Mom, in your Mom's honor.
Get a card in the mail and there's always Amazon for delivering a gift (or gifts).
I'm lucky that mine is still alive at 99 and lives here in town. She got a huge card hand delivered today. That card was at least 1'x2'!
