Dang Adobe, and Photoshop.
I am working on a not very large file for our clients. It is a Tiff file with LZW compression I cropped out of the overall area flight area.
It is just over 4 GB with the compression. I did one quick edit of a reflection off of a pond to get rid of the reflection. Try to save, nope, Photoshop refuses as it it too big for the format according to Photoshop. My mapping programs pay with 4 GB tiff files like toys, and I have produced 15 GB tif files with no issues.
So now I "get" to cut the image in pieces, to be recombined later from a mapping program. Grrrrrrrr. If Adobe would just put a button on the save as tab that said "Save it damn it", I don't care is someone using old versions can't open my files. I would be happier.
