Thanks for the responses. I had never heard of antigravity batteries, interesting concept but $700? Wow.

I've been told by several people that batteries (like everything else these days) "ain't what they used to be" when it come to longevity. I don't know how long the current battery has been in the car but I'm sure it's not being exercised enough to maintain peak operation for as long as possible.

And a battery tender is in the plans as well. I'm also looking into the small jump packs for the daily driver and long trips. I don't want to get stuck in the mountains or somewhere else with a dead battery.
