If you want to go loud and keep it sounding good the room becomes the problem pretty quickly. That and failing components, LOL, one of my sub's quit working last week, manufacturer no longer repairs, likely a small capacitor rattled itself apart will need to remove and start checking.

I’ve had to rebuild a few receivers. Recently I had my D1S completely overhauled. Now kicking around paying 2Xs higher the going rate for a Yamaha M 85 for a completely reconditioned unit. Just to save the hassle of contacting and endless emails, logistics to get these aging audio devices repaired.
