When a battery needs to be changed on a 996 ,
Windows must be closed , wheels in line................if not , the wheel angle sensor can necessite a re-calibration , and the windows must be opened and closed to re-learn the position.
So , it's recommended to add a battery charger during the operation , in the goal of not cutting the 12v.
