Continuing to shake down and sort the car. The Monty muffler is a HUGE improvement. It is much quieter than the Dansk 2/2, but still has a nice deep tone and an authoritive growl under hard acceleration.
I found out the fuel gauge and sender are lying to me. When the gauge reads 1/2 tank, its actually empty. Found that one out the hard way. I should have believed the reserve light, which did come on.
Also replaced the sunroof switch as the old one had bad contacts on the close portion. I happened to have a spare early style (chrome surround) switch that I was able to swap. Still need to either clean or adjust the mechanism which has probelsm closing the last little bit (raising the rear edge of the panel to be flush with the roof).
