I read our on-ine local newspaper every morning. It was once a great paper, but is now owned by USA Today. I can scroll past the endless worthless stories.
It is so annoying that the real who what where when and why are just not mentioned, or maybe partially near the end of the article. Most articles start off with how someone feels about the story, or some irrelevant trivia to set a mood. I just ignore all those articles. And if it is something like an election in another state, or country, I really don't care much. I can vote in that election, and I am not affected by the results of who was elected in some other corner of the world. Scroll on down.
They do have some articles about local events and politics that do affect me. Those I read more carefully if the writing is understandable and about the even, and not some reporter's feelings about it.
