They have gone from having 100-150 cars listed at a time to something like 700 cars at a time since the site was sold to Hearst. It’s become an absolute whorehouse, just the Carmax of collector sites but without the protections of Carmax. It is what it is.
And you’re right, they don’t give a ****. Modern tech companies and web sites are run by lawyers. If they helped you more with the auction or payment, they could open themselves up to exposure that apparently doesn’t exist if they stay hands-off. That’s my theory, anyhow.
