The one I heard last summer was just after 6am.... from a few hundred yds deep in the woods.... as I was throwing a tennis ball to my Lab... she was oblivious... tennis ball
. Put her inside as I heard the bobcat approaching us both making hair raising noises... didn't know WTF it was. After poochie was inside, I caught a glimpse of the bobcat heading down to a pond that's behind me. Put out trailcams, but never saw it again. Was my 65lb Lab at risk.... I dunno? Were my neighbors' little yappers.... you bet they were. I've had foxes IN my backyard before.... since I don't have chickens .... I still have a phone video of one... beautiful
. I hate to even harm a fish that I always release too... but...

Bobcats and coyotes are not welcome here .... they know it too.... the total I've killed thus far ... zero.
