I have been a football season ticket holder at the U of Cincinnati since Brian Kelly was the head coach. ( I lived in SoCal when Kelly came to Cincy). This year, I dropped the tickets. College Football is done. I will spend money traveling to away games from now on and enjoy the travel part of the experience. I don't expect to "win" again after this year.
We can't compete with the big schools on money. We are good because we get local kids to stay home. Take that away, and we are dead.
It was fun while it lasted.
Instead, I blew $12k joining the Motorsports Country Club of Cincinnati and bought a brand new brand new IAME KA100. (I ran a 125 shifter at Adams and Perris in California. nobody runs shifters in SW Ohio Region. I don't really know why.)

I will watch the home games on TV and travel to interesting away games. We play Arkansas to open the season and I've never been to the U of Arkansas... Then next year we will probably be in the Big 12, so that will be a bunch of nice away games to visit...
I'm not interested in Pro sports, other than the Reds as a social event. It really disappoints me that they have ruined college football. I wish that they would simply form a Pro 18-22 year league and remove colleges from the equation. If a player fails at the Pro 18-22 year league, then let him come back to college on a regular athletic scholarship and be a regular college student.
