This situation of ever spiraling up with pay, endorsements, etc. for & by college/university players should have been anticipated and expectecd. That's the way things go. College & universities are obese with money. The scholarships, loan programs, grants, etc. over the years have increased the general cost of education, since the educational institutions have increased fees & costs to increase & absorb all those funds. When I went to "junior college," it cost $50 per semester plus books & fees. At the college (now uiniveristy) I finished up at, it cost $97 a semester plus books & fees. I could work & pay my way. Now you pay for the same education at the rate of thousands a semester - at public schools.
